The history of poem is an everlasting process of enrichment and discovery. Along with the study and analysis of poems in Cultural Revolution conducted by academic circles, large quantities of poets have emerged to the surface and obtained recognition by this circle; Shi Zhi (Guo Lusheng) is one of the most important poets during that period.The poems of ShiZhi are a great wonder: during the period of Cultural Revolution, the manuscripts of his poems have spread far and wide among the young people, which moved and inspired the anguished and confused people who were pursuing the same ideal. The poems of ShiZhi maintain above the mainstream poems with its internal charm and sense of language as well as its resonant enlightenment. The peculiar style of his poems fills up the blanks in the poems of the special time. He represents the dignity and the glory of Art with free will and independent spirit of human beings. It is sure that some evident limitations do exist in his poems. For example, his poems have strong color of bourgeois lyric style, thus lack of variety of poetic forms and skills. ShiZhi' s poems are the voices of a time that faded away long ago.This paper attempts to discuss his poems from six perspectives.The first part analyzes the evaluation of ShiZhi by contemporary scholars in earnest in the context of that era and discusses the connotation and value of him being the frontier poet in Cultural Revolution.The second part annotates the heterogeneity between his poems and the mainstream poems during Cultural Revolution through analysis of his life experiences and his poetic composition.The third part explains specifically his poems with a tint of mainstream poems during the later part of Cultural Revolution, and tries to discuss his shuttles between two Parnassus: the mainstream one and the underground one with contradiction and intricacy in his...
