| In 1956, the new literature policy of letting a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred parties contend took the place of the original tight one, which brought the literary circle a brief spring. But before people could enjoy the genial sunshine, chilly winter had come. With a steep drop of the literature creative environment, literature varied and struggled to make some breakthrough in constraint.During the eight years between the initial issue in 1957 and the suspended one in 1964, the literati of Poetry monthly changed a lot both in works and emotion as well. This paper tries to use the concept of displacement to make an analysis of the poetry variation and get a general idea of its development tendency of that age. It is illustrated according to the following three points: poetry language characteristics; narration style and the principal narrator.Firstly, the original language characteristics of poetry retrogressed and displacement appeared. As for the epic, the overflowing fiction of some details took the place of the emotional description. Lyric experienced the variation from self-expression to the collective political expression. However, the folk songs and play became much prosperous thanks to the extolment of the folk art styles of that time.Secondly, during the particular Abrupt Bound period, large amounts of political vocabularies were applied, and a new vernacular storm followed. The Classical Renaissance led by some political leaders like Mao Zedong was full of new vernacular spirits, which encouraged the steep rise of the elocution poetry and urged the establishment of an agrestic taste.Finally, the main narrator's attitude made an active adjustment. With the individuality conception being discriminated, a trite new poetry style marked by no-ego came into being. Maternity was enlarged and the single labor love value was established. |
