In the early 20th century, the western modernist art traded in China, in Shanghai where that found suitable for development.In a short span of time, the western modernist art made a huge change during the ’30 s peak. Among numerous groups of modernist art trendsetter, the Storm Society with radical and rebellious attitude and the declaration of the Storm Society which is famous,that occupy more space in the narrative of art history.The Storm Society image is not so clear, however, such a "privilege" made it become unclear.Some historical details are still not sure.If we want to get back to the origin of history trying to recognize the Storm Society,sort out the historical details become a problem to be solved.This thesis is based on the memories of the Storm Society members. By using the method of contrast and analysis of the historical data, to textual distinguish the Storm Society related questions and regain a sense of the declaration of the Storm Society and the main causes of community dissolution.Try to sort out some details about the history of the Storm Society, in order to access to the Storm Society original appearance.
