Qin And Han Counties Security Studies

This thesis mainly studies the public security of the county in Chin and Han Dynasty, by casting back its origin, investigating its transformation, analyzing its structure, system and its influence and meaning.Based on these, this thesis consists of such five parts as the summary of the public security of the county in Pre-chin dynasty, its organs and official position, its management and its characteristics. The first part deals with the thought, organization, activity and influence of Pre-chin dynasty. The second and third parts analyze and sum up the functions of security officials and their activities. The forth part specifies the administrative activities, including the management of residence registration, superintending the cracksman, beating lawbreakers and suppressing the revolt by force. The fifth part includes the two characteristics: adopting the strategic planning of governing the country as its principle, its increasing sound mechanism becoming more and more important in the country.
