Synonymous With. "liezi" Study

In the last fifty years, the study of synonym has become hot topic of the vocabulary research. But the ancient synonym research is not as fruitful as the modern Chinese synonym, not only in the theoretical research and practical usage. The study of a specific book from the general angle is of great need.Liezi has not drawn much attention from the angle of linguistics. This paper uses the methods of deduction, comparison, quantity analysis and quality analysis to give a detailed description of the noun phrases, verb phrases and adjective phrases. This description which focuses on the combination of theory and practice has been done by analysis of semantic, grammar and pragmatic. The reason of the form of the synonym also has been discussed. By doing this, we can know the characters of vocabulary in the dynasty of Wei and Jin and give the corpus to the research of dynastic study of vocabulary and the comprehensive study of vocabulary.On the basis of the analysis of synonym of Liezi it is obvious that logical semantic type has the relationship with distinguished characters. With the concern of the distinguished characters vocabulary of different types are not balanced. The forming of synonym of Liezi results from the effects of the outside and inside factors.
