On The Contemporary Chinese Fashion Cultural Context Of Artistic Expression

Fashion is the vogue at a certain period of time. People who are in the different environments are consciously or accidentally accepting the fashion culture with the development of the fashion. The artists' thoughts, creation are impacted by the fashion culture, and at the same time, they use their brushwork, color and so on consciously or unconsciously to embellish and convey the fashion culture from the different angles in perspective. So this article considers that an artistic work is one kind of response from the artist psychological environment to the social environment. In the research aspect, various courses already have given close attention to the development of fashion and the relationship of fashion and modenity, but less attention has been paid to combination of the two parts to discuss the problems of easel picture. The author takes this as a master line, ventures to the artists' absorption and expression of the fashion culture in linguistic environment of the fashionable culture.The article is composed of five parts. Chapter one is to discuss the concept and the reasonable existence of fashion culture. Chapter two analyzes several ways to reflect the society in the art works. Chapter three summarizes seven kinds of performance with examples that are well known. Chapter four mainly discusses the different choice of drawing theme between Liu Xiaodong and Ding Yi to analyze the different expression of different artists in the south and north of China. The last chapter ventures the individual artists' absorption of fashion.
