Research On The Artistic Expression Of Children’s Picture Books From The Perspective Of Image Narrative

At present,with the rapid expansion of the field of children’s education resources,the related industries serving children are also showing a booming trend.Among them,children’s picture books,as an important medium to cultivate children’s perception and imagination,has also become a focus in the field of visual communication design.In view of the problems existing in the original children’s picture books in China,the author analyzes the narrative elements of a large number of classic children’s picture books at home and abroad from the perspective of image narrative,combined with the characteristics of children’s physical and mental development,using the visual research method as the guidance,studies the important role of narrative elements in the creation of picture books,and applies the research results to his own design practice In order to provide the innovation path guided by theory for the original children’s picture books in China.The paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter puts forward the important role of images in the background of the times and the development status of children’s picture books in China,and specifically reviews the history,literature review and theoretical analysis of picture book image narrative;the second chapter expounds the development of children’s picture books at home and abroad,summarizes the unique characteristics of children’s picture book image narrative by combing its development context,and puts forward the application of image narrative in picture books The third chapter summarizes the narrative elements of children’s picture books,and analyzes the role of narrative role,scene,composition,color,media,graphic relationship,book structure,etc.in picture book image narrative combined with design theory;the fourth chapter,on the basis of the above research,divides the image narrative into three parts The element design method is used in the design practice of original picture book.According to the design steps of frame conception,script writing,sketch design,color matching and draft drawing,the children’s original picture book "Dudu In Wonderland"is completed.
