"Confucian School's Analects" is a book mainly recorded the words and deeds done by Confucius and his disciples. Because of many factors, the opinions are widely divided and no unanimous conclusion can be drawn from it constantly. Take a broad view of the academic history of China, people can find that it is from the annotation made by Wang Su that "School's Analects" began to be discussed and studied from the academic level. From which, the studied tended to be thoroughgoing and meticulous. Especially, with its synthesized and highest development of academy, Qing Dynasty opened a new prospect of studies for "School's Analects", which had an important bearing on the risen thoughts of the utility and the rejuvenation of academy in Han, the continuous development of textual research, and the prevailing atmosphere of suspecting the Confucian classics and distinguishing the true from the false. Some teachings of "School's Analects" had been carried on in the academic circle at the same time in Qing Dynasty, such as "teachings without falsehood", "teachings of multiplication", and "teachings of falsified opinions", among which, "teachings of falsified opinions" has occupied a position of the mainstream of the academy continuously. This opinion influenced the followers' attitude towards "School's Analects" directly.The study of "School's Analects" made by scholars of Qing Dynasty based on the former study through the ages, which made it very necessary to reorganize the study before Qing carefully and attentively. Meanwhile, it offered a prerequisite for inspection and evaluation of their studies comprehensively. From the microcosmic view, there are still many questions to be paid attention to, for example, the inspection of the scholar's study in Qing, the reason why their views were divergent on the conclusion, and something like that. Actually, it involved a question of methodology in the scholars' studies of "School's Analects", based onwhich, we can make an on-the-spot investigation of methods for textual research and distinguishing the true from the false deeply through the inspection of the scholars' studies in Qing. At the same time, we can also carry out an experimental test for whether there exit problems in the theory of distinguishing the true from the false in Qing Dynasty, and how serious the problems will be.Recently, by taking the advantage of the unearthed literature and the books on the silk and bamboo, people's vision has been broadened and thought inspired. During the inspection of the scholars' studies in Qing Dynasty, which made a use of the comparison between the unearthed literature and the ones handed down from ancient times, called "duality evidence method", people found that "the fabrication theory" of "School's Analects" was not appropriate, which needs a second examination. While base ourselves upon the forward position of the academy, we should evaluate the historical value of "School's Analects" again and apply it into the study of Confucius and the original Confucianism actively and vigorously.
