As a bestselling literature with children heroes, Harry Potter series attracts both market and academia for its brilliant story and abundant cultural c onnotations. This article concerns about the cultural relations between man and man himself; man and the society; man and the history/time; as well as man and the nature/world, which starts analyzing with four modern theories: asychoanalysis; carnivalization; neo-baroque and ecological aesthetics. Harry Potter has constructed a postmodernistic "magic-utopia"that tells us human beings to face our alienated humanity and to save our soul in the mood for reversion and participation.
