The Visual Creation Of "Magic" Music In The Movie Harry Potter 1

In this paper,the orchestral suite created for Harry Potter 1 by John Williams,a famous composer in the field of Hollywood film music creation,is selected as the research object,aiming at sorting out the structure layout and dramatic tension presented by music in the whole film.By comparing the music and visual effects in the film,it is found out how he uses music to convey emotion to the audience.And discuss how the music elicits an emotional response from the audience.The full text is divided into the following three parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces John Williams and the film Harry Potter 1 and analyzes his music creation style.The second chapter analyzes the music composing techniques of the three themes of the suite,aiming to find out the essence of the visualization of music in the film music and the various means of the works applied to the film through the analysis of the composition techniques of John Williams,so as to clarify the ideas of the integration of auditory and visual music in the later analysis of the theme music.The third chapter elaborates the universality and unity of the theme music from the portrayal of characters and scenes,analyzes the recurring characteristics of John Williams’s composition style,aims to discuss how the auditory and visual effects of the film interact,and comprehensively analyzes the embodiment of music visualization in Harry Potter 1,so as to support the core argument of this paper.Conclusion:Based on the analysis and research of the above three chapters,this paper summarizes the composition techniques used by John Williams in the film Harry Potter 1,analyzes the way music plays a role in the film Harry Potter 1,and explores how "magic" music shapes the narrative effect and emotional influence of the film.It is hoped that through in-depth research on the shaping of the theme image of "magic"music,new ideas will be brought to the creation of film music,and experience will be accumulated for the later relevant music creation.
