.. Lu Jia is birth an important politician of early Han Dynasty ond an important scholars. The Xinyu of Lu Jia possesses important position in history of Confucianism.Through comparative study of Xinyu and Lunyu we can see that Lu Jia had a good study at Lunyu and obeyed Confucius's Dao. Confucius is the far origin of his learning. Through comparative study of Xinyu and Chunqiuguliangzhuan we can see that Lu Jia proficient in Chunqiuguliangzhuan . His teacher is Fu Qiu Bo who is student of Xun Zi, the great Confucian scholar of later Zhanguo times. Thought of Xun Zi has some influent on the Xinyu of Lu Jia.The political thought of Xinyu embodies Confucian particularity. Lu Jia put forward the concept of "Daoshu". The concept means mainly "Dao of monarch" that the rulers must conform to. The Xinyu of Lu Jia afford rulers a set of means and principle of governing country and society. They include "to advocate Daode", "to actualize Renyi", "principle of Non-action" and "to employ able and worthy men". "To advocate Daode" and "to actualize Renyi" aren't abstract principle, but some concrete regnant means which include three aspect. The first aspect is "to limit labour services" and "to discourage profit". The second aspect is no to rely on punish means. The third aspect is no to rely on force. These thought originate from Lunyu. "Principle of Non-action" of Xunyu isn't "principle of Non-action" of Taoism. It includes two aspects. The first aspect means that any work which is not important should not be done and labour services should be limited to what is absolutely necessary for the welfare of the people. Rulers should not impose strict punishments on the people. The second aspect means that self-cultivation is importance for rulers and only when ruler is virtuous can he set a good example to his subordinates. The thought of first aspect originate from the Lunyu. Lunyu has some similar thought with the second aspect. Lu Jia places importance on the employment of able men to administer a state. Sometimes these people are neglected and they remain outside the imperial court, but they should show the spirit of "zhong" and assistant to the ruler. This thought is clearly originate from Lunyu. The Xinyu of Lu Jia mentions the theory of the correspondence of action between Heaven and Earth, which is chiefly embodied by the correspondence of action between Heaven and politics. Lu Jia holds that though action of human being cause the emergence of convulsion and mascot and the change of celestial phenomena. Heaven doesn't forwardly intervene terrestrial government affaire. The effect of these phenomena is to make human being adjust their action forwardly. In Xinyu chapter Zhide Lu Jia describes an ideal political process of social development. This thought differ bath from the ideal society of Lao Zi ond from the ideal society in Liji. It originates from thought that ruler should educate his subordinates after enriching them, which be refer by Confucius in Lunyu.Thought of Huanglao is the mainstream of political thought in early Han Dynasty. Through comparative study between Xinyu and Wenzi, Huanglaoboshu, which are representative literatures of Thought of Huanglao We can see that Wenzi had limitedly influence on Xinyu and many viewpoints of Xinyu about political principle and means resemble that of Huanglaoboshu. These viewpoints are selected from Confucianism, which are comfortable to needs of early Han Dynasty society. Along with Thought of Huanglao's entering political arena these viewpoints became label of Thought of Huanglao. Development of Confucianism attributed to Lu Jia has been neglected easily. The Xinyu of Lu Jia has an important influence on Dong Zhong-shu. Many viewpoint of Dong Zhong-shu that include view on ascendancy , paying attention to cultivation, especially theory of the correspondence of actions between Heaven and Earth inherit and develop the Xinyu of Lu Jia.The thought of Lu Jia's Xinyu both embody archaic origin of Confucianism and develop Confucianism with bright characteristic. It has a strong influence on the formation and development of Dong Zhong-shu's thought. The Xinyu of Lu Jia possesses important position in history of Confucianism and has a unique value.
