Analysis Of Yuan Mei On The "nature"

This thesis researches in the Yuan Mei's poetry theory-"Disposition and Feeling". Firstly, "Disposition and Feeling" is differentiated and analyzed, based on psychology, the intension, the uses information by preceding poets, and its function. Secondly, Yuan Mei's "Disposition and Feeling" was explained. Its intension includes feeling, affection and sentiment. And its character is "true" and "to express myself ". In fact, "true" and "to write myself " are one things, but from different point. The poets, before Yuan Mei and in the same time, also paid attention to "true "of his poem. In Yuan Mei's opinion, the poetry's "truth" is to express what he wants to express, less restrictions on it. In order to make the problem clear, I studied the ideology of Yuan Mei and found that his thought was in line with his poetry theory. The affection between male and female in the poet is an inevitable problem in the research to Yuan Mei. And this is also the focal point of the thesis. Many researchers regard the affection between male and female the most important in all kinds of feeling expressed by Yuan Mei in poem. But in fact, Yuan Mei just wanted to prove the rationality of love poems in view of "true" poetry and to broaden the sphere that poem could express.
