Yuan Hongdao is the leading member of Gong'an School in late-Ming Dynasty. He put forward his literary thought, thinking that literary creation must express one's true feelings, regardless of style and tone. He criticized Seven-Person School's theory of restoring ancient ways. His literary thought had a great impact on the literary world and also turned around the atmosphere at that time.The key point of this thesis is about Yuan Hongdao's poem creation, which embodied his view of "Xing ling" and reflected his ways of life and mind. This thesis also expounded in detail his landscape poems and buddhist poems, made a comparison of Yuan Hongdao's poem theory and creation with that of Seven-Person School's, deepened people's understanding of the poem theories about Gong'an School and Seven-Person School's.Yuan Hongdao had two kinds of different experience in his life, which reflected in his poems with different styles and aesthetic characteristics. The feature of his poem in the first part of his life is fresh, frank, and expressed his true feelings, while the feature in the second part is plain, reserved.In a word, his poem has certain influence on the followers. |
