Tang Yan Xu Dynasty

The prefaces are the important prosaic style in the Chinese classical essays. Among these prefaces, the prefaces of travel and feast contain particular literary enchantment and profound culture meaning, the Tang's prefaces of travel and feast are mature style and artistic characteristic, so they have glorified in Chinese classical prosaic history. In fact, according to the contemporary academic study, we have concluded that the academic have not thought much of the Tang's prefaces of travel and feast, the expert studies of the Tang's prefaces of travel and feast are very unsubstantial. The studies of the Tang's prefaces of travel and feast focus on the appreciation of the famous essays and Han Yu & Liu Zongyuan's classical essays, so the study takes on limited state. This article adopts the basic method of text study, and based on the concept of prosaic style. This article reviews and demonstrates the following problem: the development of the prefaces of travel and feast, the concept and implication of the prefaces of travel and feast, the reason of the Tang's prefaces of travel and feast, the literary value of the Tang's prefaces of travel and feast, the culture meaning of the Tang's prefaces of travel and feast. This article beginning with the history of the prefaces of travel and feast, describes the track of the prefaces of travel and feast, demonstrates the meaning and extension of the prefaces of travel and feast, analyses the style character of the prefaces of travel and feast, ascertains the literary and culture status of the Tang's prefaces of travel and feast. This article tries to its best to break through the complexion that the study of Tang 's essay focused on the Han Yu & Liu Zongyuan's essays, and goes deep into the literature and culture. Of course, this article just attempts to study Chinese classical prosaic style, in order to study them systemically.
