Han Yu Witty Poetic Style Study

This dissertation, taking the humorous poetry style of Han Yu, is devoted to analyze the values and meanings of the humorous poetry style of Han Yu. And based on that, it trys to make objective, impractical comments on the humorous poetry style of Han Yu.The dissertation consists of three chapters.Chapter One, the review of humorous history of the middle stage of Tang Dynasty and the before. Section one, the defining of humor; Section two, the review of humorous history of the era before Tang Dynasty; Section three, the review of humorous. History of Tang Dynasty (from the first stage of Tang Dynasty to the middle stage of Tang Dynasty). All the studies make a basis for the development of the whole thesis.Chapter Two, concrete analyzing the humorous poetries of Han Yu. Section one, the humorous character of Han Yu and its reflection; Section two, analyzing the humorous poetries of Han Yu; Section three, Comparing the humorous Poetries of Han Yu with the poetries of his contemporary poets. The main purpose is to get the reasons of forming the humorous poetry style of Han Yu and its concrete reflection and its characteristic. This part plays the most important role in the thesis.Chapter Three, the evaluation and succession for the humorous poetry style of Han Yu. Section one, the evaluation of posterity and its forming reasons; Section two, the succession of poets in Song Dynasty of the humorous poetry style of Han Yu. This chapter mainly enumerating the evaluation of posterity and analyzing, the reasons of forming the evaluation. At last, recommending simply the succession of poets in Song Dynasty to the humorous poetry style of Han Yu.
