The light-reddish-purple porcelains were very popular from later Qing Dynasty to early years of the Repubic of China. The typical wares decorated with light-reddish-purple included plates with paintings, vases, stationanical pieces, cylindrical hat, and etc. The art-style of landscape-painting in light -reddish-purple porcelains. Stemed from the antient Chinese paintings. The light-reddish-purple painters care for imitating ancient light-reddish landscape painting, which were full of free-hand brush-work and quiet, idealistic expressions. The flower-bird paintings and figure ones on light-reddish-parple porcelains were strongly impacted by the sea School paintings, which expressed auspicions meanings .
