As one part of the national cultures,the national music plays more important role which transmits the China's traditional culture,and bears the weight of the spirit civilization and developing process.Zheng is a kind of plucking music.This instrument can date from the ancient Qin Dynasty in China.The sound of Zheng is bright,clear and melodious,and its range is broad,beautiful and timbre.The forms of performing are many and varied.It is an essential instrument in ancient palace.‘Yatug-a' is the name of Mongolia Zheng,which is the Mongolia stringed plucked instrument.It can go back to the ancient times and is closely with the Mongolia culture.It's timbre is sharp,simple and honest.The mongols like this instrument very much.In this paper,the author chooses Shandong Zheng and Mongolia Zheng as the object of study,together with the historical data and some scholars' oral accounts.At the same time,the author also analyses the origins,styles,representative figures and music concerning these two instruments.By contrasting the both of the Zheng we can reach a conclusion that they influence and develop to each other from the ancient times to today.Now,Zheng is inseparable from ‘Yatug-a' along with the Mongolia and han's cultural mixture,and the instruments' inheritance and development.
