Anxiety In The Fight

The paper analyzes the directions of anxiety in the thought and works of Kierkegaard and Dostoevsky,in order to find the inner generality between them.In the opinion of paper,anxiety was a kind of state of mind and spirit from ancient,but not until Kierkegaard and Dostoevsky it became an existential state as an individual who could not escape. Two directions of anxiety appeared between them:one was anxiety to existence. Technical rationality and speculative philosophy controlled all aspects of human's lives,and they covered and purposely failed to mention man's existence as individual. Kierkegaard and Dostoevsky raised the flag of rebelling,but meanwhile they fell in to anxiety .The other was anxiety to sin. As the thinkers in a dilemma between modern and tradition,they could not escape the stare from God. That individual abused freedom caused sin and was conscious of sin means anxiety. At the same time the anxiety between them was different. Anxiety of Dostoevsky covered great sympathies,but Kierkegaard's was mostly concerned about himself.
