| The word order of "structure of compound directional complementation+object" is an important question. It is the key that the structure is more complex than others. It's complex usage; diverse meanings and flexible forms embody the peculiarity of Chinese syntax. Furthermore, this is an important and difficult issue in Chinese teaching. So, a lot of scholars are interested in this question. The former researches concentrated on description, were lacking of comprehensive analysis. In this paper, based on the achievement and modern Chinese language material, we observe this question.Firstly, we summarize the former achievements, raise the question and limit the rage that we should discuss. Secondly, according to the position of object, we divide the structure into four forms: post-object pattern, pre-object pattern, ba pattern and intermediate-object pattern. The intermediate-object pattern is used the most frequently, and then the ba pattern, the pre-object pattern is used least. The following chapter is the focal point of our paper. We separately research these four forms from comprehensive angles: object, directional complement, verb and pragmatics. From the research, we conclude that the usage of these four forms are restricted by syntax, pragmatics and semantics. We also try to explain the reason of the different position in different condition. In addition, we research some relative questions, such as the relationship between the pre-object pattern, v.-v construction and v.-o(m)-v. construction etc. At the end, we do transformational analyses of these four patterns and summary the restricted factors. |
