In China, the modern-sense female emancipation movement began with the period of May 4th movement. Influenced by this new trend, women writers explored towards the deeply self-related proposition. Their complex and rich experience made them understanding the concept of female emancipation differently, and therefore different emancipation models were put forth. Based on the modern works by women writers in China, this paper puts forwards three different patterns of emancipation and makes a brief comment as well. The author insists that the women writers' efforts played very important roles in ideological emancipation, personality promotion, real improvement on women's status and so on, but whatever model it was, owing to the limitations of women themselves, society, history and so on, it does not really bring women real emancipation. Therefore, the women emancipation has long, arduous task to go.
