In addition, reduplication makes the semantic have the characteristics of gradation, state and subjectivity. Chapter Three discusses assimilation. The essay explains it in aspects of pattern, meaning and function. Chapter Four elaborates breakthrough and restriction of function. The essay explains it from the breakthrough of syntax, the restriction of combination as well as breakthrough and restriction of word order. The breakthrough of syntax refers to its flexibility. The ending sums up the whole essay and points out the problems which are not solved.
