As a number of "the fifth generation", Jianxin Huang started his movie artistic composition from 1978 and has directed eleven films during the twenty years. Whether in the 1980s mainstream of cultural rethinking and enlightenment or in the 1990s mainstream of civil culture and commercialization, Mr. Huang stick to the consciousness of an artist, focusing on the real dilemma of modern Chinese, both the living dilemma and the spiritual dilemma, with developing the artistic tradition of Wenyizaidao and making the spiritual connection with people by movie. At the same time, Mr. Huang is always seeking the artistic creation continuously as an artist during the low period of movie industry, especially under the tide of commercialization and popular culture. How to find a balance point between them is a difficulty and Huang make an explorative response in his latest works. Taking Huang's descriptive style as the aim of research in this article, the author wants to interpret the core of Huang's movie style with an attempt to make an analysis in different time context and different movie form in various cultural streams, seeking the unchangeable from changeable and changeable from unchangeable.The first chapter taking the style as the aim, makes interpretation on from the level of descriptive space, descriptive context and descriptive aspect combining the detail analysis and human analysis. The second chapter is about the change of image language, mainly analyzing the movie itself. The third chapter is the cause of the changing style.
