The verse performance of Yuxi Liu is combination of two kinds art style: "bold and unconstrained" and "lucid and attractive". This text corresponds from two angles; the first part is lengthways to study his verses from the different period of view, especially emphases on analyzing the difference of the verse style between twice exiles, based on the fore person's research foundation, further the study on the verse style change of three periods. The second, third, fourth, fifth part of the text is transverse to analyse the deep layer structure main factors of verse-image and structure, and the surface layer form main factor-language and type, to study perspective the art characteristics of his verse. The verse make use of active and essential and fluent language; portraying powerful, philosophic and lively image; through the roundabout and concordant structure; expressing connotative and attractive poetry, and revelatory and profound thought. In the forms, the poet not only produces plentiful and essential the rhythmic poem, but also inherits and develops the qilu(eight-line poems with seven characters to each line and a strict tonal pattern and rhyme scheme) and qijue(four-line poems with seven characters to each line and a strict tonal pattern and rhyme scheme) poetry forms.
