Based on history, ideololgy and puberty, WangMeng chose to be a revolutionized intellectual at first. He set up solid idealism which show in his works as war culture, clean mind and bright emotion."Anti the Right" and the Culture Revolution took him as enemy, that made him feel perplexed. Because the People and the Revolution are one, WangMeng Changed to cherish the People identity when reforming through labour. Among the people, he threw himself into production, daily life and the mass culture, and he found the true,the good and the beautiful; moreover, he was cared for, treasured and teached by the masses.In the new era, WangMeng introspect the Revolution and avoid being assimilated by the People, as a result he begin to look for the independence and value of his own. The failure of enlightening the people has him awoke to the fact that he should stay between the shrine and the square, keep and pass on the doctrine, and be willing to be intermediary of history. By criticizing simple idealism that leads to acting blindly and confusedly, WangMeng make great change in works, for example,drawing back subject matter, weakening theme,fading heroism and eliminating comedy.In the aspectof literary form, from the trial of "Stream of Consciousness------ProseStyle", to the meaningful type'Tmitated Sao Style------UtopianSpeech",then to the liberation that can be called"Mixed Tongue------CarnivalStyle",the writer has already found a type of writing, which is very effective in bidding farewell to those lost years and saving oneself.
