During the Qing Dynasty, she mainly adopted bimetallism that the silver and the copper cash ran parallel as her currency system. the copper cash was used in the small business, the silver was used in the big transaction .When the people paid grain tax and paid taxes ,they matched the silver with the copper cash. But the ruler once published paper currency three times to solve the problem of financial deficits in Shun Zhi chao,Xian Feng chao and the last years of the Qing Dynasty. Because the influence of the paper money publishing that Shun Zhi chao produced was insignificant, so this article expounded the reason for paper money publishing.,the process and the result of paper money publishing of two periods about Xian Feng and Guang Xuan's . In the end the author summarizes the experience and the lesson and makes a conclusion.
