Summary:In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,particularly,vocabulary teaching appears important. Based on research on morpheme teaching done by others, this paper summarizes the roles that morpheme teaching plays in vocabulary teaching and try to find solutions to some detailed problems in it. First, what morphemes should be taught in the morpheme teaching? This paper points out that it should be based on frequency in forming words and explicit degree of meaning expression to determine which should be the key elements of the morpheme teaching. And according to the HSK examination outline of vocabulary including the degrees A and B morpheme formation ability were analyzed, Getting statistics from each of the morpheme and determining the sequences of all word-formation and their frequency. And on the basis of that it determines the primary and secondary Chinese morpheme teaching priority sequence, combining with the factor of the explicit mopheme expression. Secondly, What problems are in morpheme teaching? How to solve these problems? By the analysis of the current interlanguage morpheme teaching problems, this topic offers some methods of morpheme teaching and ideas about how to design exercises.
