Content:Although there are form of various genres in Ming Dynasty painting, all the genres are taking style of previous Dynasty as the reference object, just because different choice forms different schools of painting.Zhejiang School had prospered during mid-Ming Dynasty. Its landscape style, which is mainly based on the successor of Maxia pai of the Southern Song, developed from the fusion of the artists' subjective attention orientation and social aesthetic fashion. As a social ideology, drawing art, which is from development of contents to the rise and fall of variety painting ideologies, always can not be separated with political evolution.Because of the feudal autocracy social and political environment in Ming and ossified thinking dominated by Cheng Zhu'Neo-Confucianism, the early Ming's official cultural policy and ideology tend to be the "restoration". People's thinking and creativity, aesthetic tandards, aesthetic interest and aesthetic ideal are restricted in some kind of degree, resulting in the culture tone of ampere minute and conservative in the Ming Dynasty before the mid-term, showing a single and pale feature.Of course, the reasons for the formation of Zhejiang School landscape painting style not only influenced by the cultural, social aesthetic fashion and other social environment, but also be relation to regions which the Zhejiang School painters to live in, the regions including the geographical and cultural regions.North and south have different natural landscapes and cultures, thus forming a different landscape characteristic between north and south style. The painters of Zhejiang School had been mostly living in south of the Yangtze River, so DongJu type style of the Five Dynasties and the Northern Song Dynasty should be its preferred learning objects. But the Zhejiang School landscape painting inherits mostly from MaXia pai of the Southern Song from composition to techniques; with powerful Northern landscape painting of old and strong artistic features. Zhejiang School and MaXia pai of the Southern Song Dynasty painter had been living in the same geographical region, but the ink performance of MaXia pai of the Southern Song dynasty is more successful than Zhejiang School. That is because the Zhejiang School just unilaterally "learning tradition", but not to study the "nature", and coupled with excessive demands on their attention to the heart, its landscape painting has the mere formality of exaggerating. In addition to these external factors, the formation of the Zhejiang School landscape painting style essentially relate to what the artist choose independently. This relates to the artist's personality and mind of their life experience, but the more important reason is the cultivation of the artist's knowledge mastery and artistic talent. External influences are temporary, although a characteristic of human nature will yield to external influences in some degree, but people are still able to to pull themselves together, because of the unique characteristics of its nature is permanent, from the flesh and blood.
