| Exquisite Emotion and Elegant Bone was the impression after I studied Yun Nantian's Mo-gu Poppy Flower. The beauty of the drawing lied in using color, light, posture and melody, moreover, the clarity of its aesthetic mood was also disirable. After I studied the drawing again and again, I perceived the esscence in Yun's drawing style and drawing theory, which I applied to my own sketch practice. There were two points that inspired me throughout my studying: one was that it helped me to engage Mo-gu Method to rich my skills of traditional fine brushwork; the other was that it illuminated my direction of artistic creation. Both played a positive role in my graduation work of Chinese Painting. |
