| In the history of Traditional Landscape Painting of Taiwan, Fu Style Painting became the main stream and gained popularity since1949. Fu Style Painting not only features Taiwanese culture, but also a style of the combination of the traditional art and modern art. It also uses new skills and methods to present its subjects. All of the abovementioned make Fu Style Painting well recognized by the popularity, and interest many landscape painters to learn the Fu’s style, in addition to Fu’s own apprentices.The first chapter of this essay is the summary of Fu Chuan-Fu’s life, experience of painting in Chiang Nan, Pa Shu, and Taiwan, and analysis of formation of Fu’s Painting. The idea of creation and structure of painting in Fu’s Painting is mainly of innovation from the traditional painting.In the second chapter, there are more details of formation and technique of expression of Fu’s Painting, and also the new skills varied from Taiwan local ink painting to fully present the unique texture of Taiwan mountains, which are called "wind, water technique" and "texturing methods."The background of formation of Fu’s Painting is illustrated in the third chapter. In the beginning years after restoration from Japan colonialism, ink painting started to grow and thrive. Prof. Fu Chuan-Fu were teaching art school and participate in Province Exhibition of Art, and he made Fu’s Painting became well-known and popular.The factions and generations of Fu’s Painting are listed in chapter four, including details of the first and second generation of Fu’s Painting. Moreover, the history of passing down, popularization, and variation of artistic style Fu’s Painting are illustrated and depicted from the view of educational study of Taiwan National University of Arts, and of the Art Contests in Taiwan.The value and impact on ink painting of Fu’s Painting, and how it reestablish local ink painting with sketch are depicted in the fifth chapter. The unique artistic style of Fu’s Painting represents its new world view, and through comparison between Fu’s Painting and Three Masters Crossing the Sea. the tribute of Fu’s painting to Taiwan ink painting is clearly illustrated.
