On The Development And Evolution Of Oil Painting Base Materials

The purpose of this thesis is to recognize,understand and compare the influence of different types of base materials and painting techniques on the effect of paintings.This thesis uses a combination of graphics and text,focusing on in-depth discussion of the characteristics of various base materials and the usage and characteristics of pigments,as well as the influence on the preservation of the picture.This thesis conducts theoretical analysis after sorting out the materials and researching the literature.First,the author tries to find out various base materials and the representative paintings of the corresponding painters,and then classifies them according to the types and painting methods.This thesis is composed with common special base materials as the main explanatory objects,focusing on the application of oil painting base materials.According to the characteristics of different substrate materials,this research discusses a series of issues such as the processing of the painting techniques,the adhesion of the paint coating,the correlation between each other,and the preservation of the picture.This research helps to understand the characteristics of the base material,the application of painting techniques,and the points that need to be paid attention to in the future preservation.By knowing the characteristics of oil painting materials and how to use them flexibly,artists can better understand the influence of the materials on the final effect of the picture.This research uses the material analysis method to systematically collect all kinds of base material works,and uses case analysis to illustrate the differences between different base materials,so as to better create oil paintings.
