The widespread existence of obscene folk tempers were the general social phynomenon.The obscene folk tempers belong to the field of folk belief and have a solid social foundation.In order to research the people'social life in Sui Dynasty and Tang Dynasty,we must investigate this important social phynomenon.This paper was divided into four parts:The first part analyze the purpose of setting up these obscene folk tempers. People set up the obscene folk tempers for living,human god,natural god and wizards and ghosts.The second part analyze the relationship between obscene folk tempers and the rulers. To emphasize the country's unification and authoritarian regimes,the government and the local officials hold an attitude of prohibition.But,the obscene folk tempers are current and have a solid social foundation,so the government have to change these prevailing habits and customs.Final,the government drawn into the prostitutiong among the obscene folk tempers'carnival.The third part analyze the relationship between the obscene folk tempers and the folk society. The obscene folk tempers belong to the field of folk belief,people think these as sustenance of faith,prayer for the need ,entertainment places.Also,large and small festival and the community has had a huge waste of wealth.The fourth part analyze the Features of obscene folk tempers:Many organizations have influence on the obscene folk tempers, the Government used an executive order to guide temples, Buddhism and Taoism are the advantages of using their religion to rein in their own Temple of God; temple prostitution in the Sui and Tang dynasties change with the political developments in the politics.the southern and southwestern areas of culture and economy has been lagging behind many temple prostitution, and people are keen on temple ritual prostitution.
