Purpose:To review the efficacy of herbs with the function of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.Method:In accordance with the requirements of Meta analysis, retrieval of herbs with the function of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis in the treatment of malignant tumors in Chinese and English RCT Subjects(including unpublished). Retrieving papers both Chinese and English,ie,Pub Med,Embase,The Cochrane Library,China national knowledge infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang Data,Weipu database(VIP) and China biology medicine(CBM).Retrieval time scale is up to March 2016.Two reviewers independently perused the papers retrieved, in case of disagreement, please help to solve the third party.Software Review Manager 5.3 was used for this analysis. Results: 1.A total of 14 studies including 1075 diabetic peripheral neuropathy patients, which are totally Chinese studies.Heterogeneity test:Chi2=5.45,P=0.96﹥0.1,I2=0%。The clinical effective rate of the two groups was statistically significant(P﹤0.00001).2. In improving the motor nerve conduction velocity(MCV) and sensory nerve conduction velocity(SCV) in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy,The results of Meta analysis between the two groups showed that P﹤0.00001.Conclusion:The therapeutic effect of Chinese herbal compound prescription for activating blood circulation and removing stasis on diabetic peripheral neuropathy, which could effectively improve the clinical symptoms and nerve conduction velocity in patients with DPN.
