Objectives:(1)In order to provide an epidemiological data this study was to master the situation of the gastric HP in the person (2)To master the situation of oral HP in dental plaques, saliva and stomach mucosa, and the character of the gastric HP in the periodontitis. Then to study the correlation among periodontitis, oral HP and gastric HP for providing information about how care the relate oral disease. Method:(1)An investigation on the gastric HP positive rate of 7855 people(age>20),who participated in a physical examination,by the method of [14C]-Urea Breath Test. A total of 7855 people are 4741 males and 3124 females. (2)102 dyspeptic patients who came from the physical participated were divided two groups according to periodontitis. The presence of the bacteria in the dental plaques and saliva was observed by PCR.And gastric HP infection was detected by [14C]-Urea Breath Test, and Gram staining or PCR. And the Compare the positive rate of the oral HP or gastric HP between the periodontitis group and the healthy oral cavity status subjects. Result:(1).To 7855 people who participate the physical examination, HP was detected in stomachs from 3958 persons(50.39%).In the age group 20-30 years,673(45.47%) of 1480 subjects with HP in their stomach; In the age group 31-40 years,967(48.21%) of 2006 subjects with HP in their stomach; In the age group 41-50 years,1268(57.25%) of 2215 subjects with HP in their stomach; In the age group 51-60 years, 1031(49.07%) of 2101 subjects with HP in their stomach; And in the age group >60 years, 19(35.85%) of 53 subjects with HP in their stomach. The positive rate of gastric HP is different in five groups. There is no different about gastric HP positive rate between male and female.(2)In the 102 subjects,64(62.75%) persons with oral samples carried HP in their dental plaques and saliva. (3)And HP was detected in stomach samples from 72(70.59%) patients in the 102 subjects.(4)52(81.25%) of 64 subjects harboring HP in their oral cavity showed concomitant stomach infection, while 20(52.63%) of 38 persons without HP in the oral cavity had HP infection in their stomach (P=0.002, OR=3.90).(5)34(80.95%) of 42 subjects with periodontitis harboring HP in their oral samples, while 15(48.39%) of 31 without periodontitis keeping HP in their oral cavity(P=0.003, OR=4.53). (6)37(88.10%) of 42 persons with periodontitis showed stomach infection, while 13(41.94%) of 31 subjects without stomach infection(P=0.000, OR=10.25).(7)In the periodontitis group of 42,32(94.12%) of 34 harboring HP in their oral cavity showed individuals infecting HP in their stomach, while 5(62.50%) of 8 without HP in their oral cavity keeping HP in their stomach (P=0.013, OR=9.60).Conclusions:(1)The total positive rate of gastric HP is 50.39%, the positive rate of gastric HP is different in the five age group. Especially, to the positive rate of gastric HP, the age group 41-50(57.25%) is the highest (2)There is HP in oral cavities. A significant correlation (P=0.002, OR=3.90) was found between HP in oral cavities and HP in stomachs, and the people with HP in their mouths had a higher prevalence of gastric HP than those without HP in their oral cavities.(3)Oral HP had a close relationship(P=0.003, OR=4.53) with periodontitis, and the persons with periodontitis usually han a higher proportion than ones without periodontitis. (4)A great correlation (P=0.000, OR=10.25) was discovered between periodontitis and gastric HP, the periodontitis a higher periodontitis of gastric HP than those who without periodontitis.(5)To the periodontitis, there is also a close relationship(P=0.013, OR=9.60) between oral HP and gastric HP,and the individuals who were positive for gastric HP had a greater periodontitis of oral HP than those who were negative for gastric HP.
