The Rules And Characteristics Of Acupuncture Treatment Of Stroke Hemiplegia Based On Clinical Information Collection System

Objective To summarize and analyze the disciplinarian and characterri stics of acupuncture and moxi bust ion treatment on Apoplectic Hemiplegia, based on the cases of Acupuncture department, Guang' anmen Hospital.Methods The study's data are come from the research of the acupuncture's standardized diagnosis and treatment schemes of stroke, which is based on the unified clinical and research information platform. We use this system for Data Entry, collecting clinical data and establishing the data warehouse of acupuncture and moxibust ion treatment on Apoplectic Hemiplegia. By using SQL server 2005 software for data extraction, we describe variables such as basic information of patients, symptom of hemiplegia, distribution of treatment method and the prescription of acupuncture by using Excel and SPSS11.5. We use the SPSS11.5 software for analyzing the pre and post treatment's Bl and MAS values. In order to obtain the disciplinarian and characterristics of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment on Apoplectic Hemiplegia, Liquorice data mining software is used for network analysis.Results1. The points of hand-yangming and foot-yangming meridian are most frequently used for the treatment of apoplectic hemiplegia. And the high frequency used meridians are foot-taiyang meridian, foot-shaoyang meridian, du-meridian and ren-meridian. To achive the principal of syndrome differentiation, the extra-meridian points are frequently used.2. The high frequently used points are Zu San Li (ST 36), He Gu(LI 4), Qu Chi (LI 11), Bai Hui(DU 20), Jian Yu(LI 15), Wai Guan(SJ 5), Yang Ling Quan(GB 34) and etc.3. The high frequently used treatment principal are activating blood circulation and free the collateral vessels, free the collateral of meridians, supplementing qi and activating blood circulation, calming wind and dredging collaterals and etc.4. The post treatment' s Bl and MAS value are significantly improved by using the treatment described above. Conclusion The acupuncture department of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences Guang' An Men Hospital mainly selects the points of hand-yang ming, foot-yang ming, hand-shaoyang, foot-shaoyang, du-meridian and ren-meridian to treat apoplectic hemiplegia. The key points are Zu San Li (ST 36), He Gu(LI 4), Qu Chi (LI 11), Bai Hui (DU 20), Jian Yu(LI 15), Wai Guan(SJ 5), Yang Ling Quan(GB 34). This acupuncture method can significantly improve ADL and motor function of apoplectic hemiplegia patients.
