Objective:This study focuses on the syndrome differentiation of the Aconite Decoction from " Treatise on Febrile Diseases " and " Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber "; furthermore, collecting and analyzing the related literatures from 1989 to 2010. In order to have more comprehensive and more precise understanding to the Aconite Decoction, I explore to find syndrome and treatment rules of Aconite Decoction by analyzing the compatibility of medicines theory with formula and the clinical usage of ancient physicians.Methods:Through the internet database of the library, the Chinese Academic Journal (CNKI), Chinese Science and Technology Academic Journal (VIP)...etc., this assay collects, induces, and synthesizes the related materials of Aconite Decoction; moreover, use philology, bibliography, and statistics methods for research.Research Contents:1,Explore the syndrome differentiation with formula theory of Aconite Decoction through " Treatise on Febrile Diseases " and " Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber " of the original articles and notes of various ancient physicians.2,Summarize the clinical use of Aconite Decoction scope and characteristics.3,Use statistics to analyze the symptoms of Aconite Decoction.4,Try to find new effects of Aconite Decoction from clinical reports and experimental research.Results:After clinical research of Aconite Decoction, it has been found that Aconite Decoction has been used widely in various diseases. Bone and joint diseases, the highest proportion,28%; gynecological disease 19%; digestive diseases, accounting for 16%; cardiovascular diseases 13%; respiratory disease, peripheral vascular diseases, and other diseases, each 6%; urinary system, pediatric diseases,3% respectively. These results suggest that, doctors can make some substances adjustments of Aconite Decoction after carefully considering patients'clinical manifestations and making treatment based on syndrome differentiation to those who have the etiology correspondence to the "relative preponderance of yin and relative decline of yang".
