Purpose: Rheumatoid arthritis (abbreviated as RA) is a chronic general diseasewith noninfectious inflammation of joints and their peripheral tissues as the main symptom. In this study, patients with rheumatoid arthritis on mental health survey, select the 72 RA associated with middle to moderate depression, before and after treatment by clinical symptoms and signs such as the time of morning stiffness, joint swelling number, the number of joint tenderness, etc. improvement, laboratory indicators such as ESR, CRP, RF, PLT and so on. observation and evaluation of treatment with the antidepressant effect of the impact of RA, play a psychological therapy in the treatment of disease and the positive role of the RA patients with a better mitigation results.Material and method: There are 36 cases in each group. Treatment groups:conventional anti-rheumatic treatment based on treatment with antidepressants; control group: conventional anti-rheumatic therapy .(Report: Antidepressant treatment and explain addition and subtraction to convince Xiaoyao, cultural and recreational activities and provide patients with psychological, family, social support, recognition known therapy).Results:1. Curative effect were assessed using amendment of RA. There is significant difference between two groups in the total rate of effect(P<0. 05) ;2. There is significant difference between two groups in the total rate of effect(P<0. 05);3. There are no adverse reaction of the patients, who are treated by both anti-depress and purging-tonifying therapy.Conclusion: Conventional anti-rheumatic treatment based on treatment with theanti-depressant effect of rheumatoid arthritis than simply a good anti-rheumatic treatment.
