Electro-acupuncture Treatment Wai Experimental Study Of The Mechanisms Of Menopausal Depression

Purpose:To comprehensively analyze the correlation between Premenopausal depression and the levels of estrogen,progesterone,neurotransmitters from the behavior and Nor epinephrine.To explore the electro acupuncture side of the mechanism,provide scientific evidence for prevention and treatment of Premenopausal depression.Material and method:The 45 experimental mice age from 11—15 months for the natural premenopausal female SD rats as experimental subjects,the weight of 250-300g,were divided into model groups,electro acupuncture groups,and Western medicine groups,each with 15.And another 10 selected four-month-old youth for the youth groups,the weight of 150-200g,The model groups,electro acupuncture groups and Western medicine groups were give the Chronic unproductive stress to be the depression.The electro acupuncture groups pinpricked sp6,b118,b123,gv20 each day for 7 days.The Western medicine groups gave chlorimipramine 5mg/kg/d for 7 days The model groups and the youth groups not addressed.The use of open-field test assessment of the behavior change,Post treatment used the method of ELLISA in the blood of Nor epinephrine Estradiol and recording relevant data.Results:1.The level of activity in model groups was significantly lower than young rats,the two groups' difference is very significant(P＜0.01).Post treatment the electro acupuncture groups,and Western medicine groups of activity of rats were significantly higher than the model.compared with the model groups,the difference is very significant between the two groups,the difference is not very significant(P＞0.05).2.The NE and E2 level of blood in model groups was significantly lower than young rats,the two groups ' difference is very significant(P＜0.01).Post treatment the electro acupuncture groups,and Western medicine groups of NE and E2 of rats were significantly higher than the model,compared with the model groups,the difference is very significant(P＜0.05),between the two groups,the difference is not very significant(P＞0.05).Conclusion:The experiment proves that electro acupuncture can increased level of activities,vertical activities but also of premenopausal depression period model of rat NE and E₂ level were significantly higher.thus prompted electro acupuncture can effectively adjust Premenopausal depression model of the hypothalamus-pituitary-axis of ovarian function,neuroendocrine coordination network,specific mechanisms have yet to be studied further.
