Objective:1 through the detection of acute severe head injury patients plasma endothelin content, to explore the mechanism of traumatic brain edema.2 observation Danshen treatment of acute severe head injury and to explore the clinical effects of the mechanism of its effect.Materials and methods:Acute severe brain injury 30 patients were randomly divided into control group and the test group. 15 cases of the two groups. Control group of conventional Western medicine treatment, the experimental group in the conventional therapy plus treatment of Danshen injection. Danshen injection 20 milliliters of 5% glucose injection 250 ml intravenous drip, 1 times / day. Experimental group can signifycantly reduce the plasma endothelin concentration and delayed its peak time. 4 experimental group of patients can reduce intracranial pressure, improve the patient's GCS score, improving clinical symptoms. Danshen than a simple combination of western medicine group more effective.5 experimental group of patients blood pressure was not obvious.Danshen through effective suppression of the production and release of ET, reduce plasma ET levels, improve the microcirculation of the high viscosity state to reduce brain injury after cerebral edema and reduce intracranial pressure, thereby improveing clinical symptoms. Salvia can be seen on the severe brain injury with clinical treatment.
