Long Circular Needle Treatment Of Hemiplegic Shoulder - Hand Syndrome ¢ñ Clinical Efficacy And Safety Of Observation

This paper summarized the knowledge of modern and traditional medicine about SHS, and described present conditions of carement about SHS.Then we made a view on 20 patients which were treated with Chang Yuan Zhen therapy and made clinical study.Objective To observe the curative effect of Chang Yuan Zhen therapy for SHS,and look into the future on that.Methods All of the 20 patients of SHS were cared in the department of acu -puncture and moxibustion in guang'anmen hospital,including 13men and 7 women.The age of the patients is between 71 and 46.All of the patients were treated with Chang Yuan Zhen per week.The course of treatment con -tained 3 tims.We would observe the curative effect after one course of treat -ment.Results After one course of treatment,Marks on VAS braught down discret -ely and had difference on statistics.Marks on the sheet of JOY raised and it also had difference on statistics.After follow-up survey in 3 month -s,there was only one patient who exacerbated among the 20 patients.Conclusion Chang Yuan Zhen therapy can relieve symptom and sign of SHS for certain, but has no sure effective about the movement of fingers and the engorgement of hand.
