ObjectiveIn order to figure out the relationship between the acupuncture and musle fatigue,study on the relationship between the main sEMG index and musle fatigue was made by means of treating health volunteer with "jiansanzhen"on the middle musle bundle of the deltoid. And then, the acupunctural theraputic action was confirmed scientifically by means that the MF&MPF could both reflect the muscle fatigue and the acupunctural effect.MethodThere were 34 volunteers coming from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. While 16 were male, and others female. All of them were healthy, and there was no musle injury and intense physical activity in 2 weeks. By the demonstration, all of them were aware of the objective of the experiment and the operating essentials, and signed on the informed consent form. Let the volunteers stand uprightly, stretch the arms, make isometric contraction at the maximum abduction. And so did the MPF(P>0. 05).3 the MF&MPF change of the right deltoidCollect the MF&MPF of the bilateral deltoid at the same time, while there was no treatment on the right deltoid. There was obvious differences of MF on the right deltoid (P<0. 05). And so did the MPF (P<0. 05)..Conclusion1 The MF and MPF turn to reducing when the musles are fatigued. 2 The MF and MPF both can reflect the relationship between the acupunctural treatment and muscle fatigue, and there is significant positive correlation.3 Comparing all the sEMG indexes, we can find the changes of MF and MPF: To a certain extent, the treatment of acupuncture can raise the MF and MPF, and help relieve the muscle fatigue. So we can treat the muscle injury with acupuncture due to muscle fatigue.4The indexes of MF&MPF can reflect both the muscle fatigue and the acupunctural effect at jiansanzhen objectively.
