In modern life, the people’s demands for health are upgraded gradually including residential environment, healthy diet, physical quality and so on.The promotion of physical quality make the rehabilitation and physical performance enhancement training ha ve received more and more attention, including the stroke patients, patients with low back pain, athletes, and the general public. The rehabilitation exercise especially the core stability trainings play an important role in the rehabilitation of the whole body muscles,so more and more scholars have studied it.Now,the signal of surface electromyography has shown a good way to assess muscle activity in core stability exercises. In this paper, the effects of static and dynamic core stability training on human muscles are studied. The specific contents of this paper includes these aspects:Firstly, this study investigated the surface electromyography signal of 30 subjects during they did the exercises of the 6 core stability trainings. We adopted the frequency domain characteristic value of the surface electromyography signal i.e.median frequency and its slope to analyze the muscle fatigue. The results exhibited different fatigue degrees of the above muscles during they did the static core stability rehabilitation exercises with the conclusion that prone bridge can cause much fatigue on abdominal muscles and lower limbs muscles;supine bridge and unilateral bridge can cause more fatigue on erector spina muscle; The birddog does not cause much fatigue on muscles but can make most selected muscles active. The degree which the various kinds of static core stability exercises effected the left and right side of the same-named muscle had no statistical significant difference(P>0.05).In this research, the conclusion presents quantized guidelines on the effects of static core stability trainings on different muscles.Secondly, some muscles do not show fatigue in the static core stability training,so the Wigner-Ville distribution has been used to extract the time-frequency characteristic valueinstantaneous median frequency. The instantaneous median frequency has used to analyze the surface electromyography signal of static core stability training action, and found that some muscles showed fatigue which demonstrate no fatigue using the median frequency. That is to say, this method is effective in analyzing muscle fatigue, and using this method to analyze the surface electromyography signal during the dynamic core stability exercises.Thirdly, people are trained according to a certain frequency in daily life practice,so the dynamic core stability training is more practical. In this paper, the dynamic core stability training action is studied on the basis of rehabilitation effect of the static core stability training.Selecting the surface electromyography signal during the 6 dynamic core stability exercises of 30 subjects, then extracting and analyzing the muscle fatigue using the time-frequency characteristic value-instantaneous median frequency and its slope value. Finally, the effects of different dynamic core stability training on different muscles were obtained and compared with the muscle fatigue during the static core stability exercises.Furthermore,it can provide more detailed guidance for rehabilitation physicians as well as fitness trainer. This research provides some theoretical basis and quantitative guidance for rehabilitation therapists and coaches in the use of core stability training for the rehabilitation of patients, athletes and healthy people. |
