Granules Production Preparation Process, Quality Standards And The Treatment Of Female Rats Postpartum Depression Model Experimental Study

Chanshu Granula is a compound TCM preparation obtained from Radix Ginseng, Radix Angelicae Sinensis i.e., the product can nourish the heart to calm the mind, stimulate blood circulation to end stasis, enrich the blood and invigorate vital energy. Chanshu Granula almost suit to cure postpartum depression. According to theories of TCM, massive documents of pharmacology and main indications of the prescription, this text study on pharmaceutics and pharmacology of Chanshu Granula.In preparation aspect, with mono-factor experiment and orthogonal experiment we research on preparation and sieve the optimal preparation technology , and we obtain three batchs of semi-works productions. The result is that the craft reasonable and good. Moreover, we establish the qulity standard , and undertake stability experiment. The result is good control and stabilization of preparation qulity.With respect to pharmacology, we determine the cerebrum estrogen and monoamine neurotransmitter of the ovariectomized rat moel, which is injected gesterol and oestradiol benzoate. Then therapeutic effect is overall assessed with acute toxicity experiment and promoting blood expriment . Results: [1] There is no obvious statistical significance between Chinese medicine group and Amitriptyline group, so is meta-dose group and macro-dose group; [2] When the MTD dose of intragastric administration exceeds 240.0g/kg, there is no obvious toxic reaction and no death. [3] Comparison with the normal control group, the administration group has conspicuous promoting-blood-flow and enriching-blood effectiveness, and improvement of immunologic system.Conclusion: The results indicate Chanshu Granula is good control and stabilization of preparation qulity, could treat the postpartum depression. But it needs greatest research on the mechanism of action.
