.57 Cases Of Infertility Syndrome Type And Physical Type

Objective Observing common TCM differentiation and TCM constitution of sterility,figuring out their characteristics and relationship.Methods Collecting clinic information about differentiation pattern and constitution type,from 57 cases of sterility who visited the Teaching hospital of Chengdu university of TCM.Classifying syndrome and constitution of all the cases according to the 7-pattern constitution diagnosis criterion,the Guiding Principle of Clinical Study on New Drugs of Chinese Herbs and the Syndrome Criterion of TCM. Analysing them with software of spss13.0.Result 1.Among 57 cases,there are 17 cases of primary sterilly(28.9%) and 40 cases of secondary sterilly(70.2%).Among these cases,50 of them have suffered pelvic inflammation or some pathogenetic changes in fallopian tube(93.0%),7 cases of endometriosis(10.5%),4 cases of oophoritic cyst,4 cases of uterus myoma (7.0%),3 cases of polycystic ovary syndrome(5.7%),and 3 cases of premature ovarian failure.2.About TCM constitution,the main types are Qi Deficiency constitution(25.7%) and Yin Deficiency constitution(24.8%),followed by Yang Deficiency constitution (13.7%),Dampness-heat constitution(13.7%),Phlegm-dampness constitution (11.0%),Blood stasis constitution(9.2%) and Normal constitution(1.8%).3.In terms of TCM differentiation,the order listed by frequency are as follows: Kidney Yang Deficiency(34.2%,),Kidney Yin Deficiency(21.5%),Liver-Qi Depression(20.2%),Damp-heat syndrome(8.8%),Phlegm-dampness syndrome (6.3%),Blood stasis(5.1%) and the others(3.7%).4.The Qi Deficiency constitution mostly relates to Kidney Yang Deficiency,Liver-Qi Depression and Dampness-heat pattern(p＜0.05).The Yin Deficiency constitution mostly relates to Kidney Yin Deficiency(p＜0.05).Conclusion 1.The main constitution types of sterility are Qi Deficiency constitution and Yin Deficiency constitution.2.The Kidney Deficiency pattern occupies more proportion than other patterns,followed by Liver-Qi Depression.
