The Impact Of The Pill On Padam Serum T, Lh And Testicular Leydig Cells

Objective: To explore the effect and mechanism of Jinkui Shenqi Pill on the rats with PADAMMethod: 50 SD rats, which were 15 months old , were divided into five groups randomly: blank group,model group,treated group with high dosage Jinkui Shenqi Pill,treated group with middle dosage,treated group with low dosage.Except the blank group, the others were all injected in cavitas by Cyclophosphamide (20mg / kg·d-1) for five days, so as to make PADAM model. The Jinkui Shenqi Pill suspl was irrigated into the stomachs of the rats of the high,the middle,the low dosage group. After 21 days, the weight of the testicle and epididymis,the concentration of testosterone and luteotrop(h)ic hormone(LH) were examined, the microstructure of the testicle was observed under optical microscope with image analysis system.Result: Because of Cyclophosphamide, the weight and act of the rats dcreased, the pelage became yellowing, parch blight; the concentration of testosterone decreased significantly(P < 0.01) , the concentration of luteotrop(h)ic hormone rised significantlythe, the weight of genital organ decreased, the diameter of the tubules decreased, the seminiferous became filmly, the number of androgone and Leydig cell decreased. These change was like PADAM. Jinkui Shenqi Pill could improve these change more or less, and make them be close to the normal. Conclusion: Cyclophosphamide could duplicate the PADAM animal model.Jinkui Shenqi Pill could raise the concentration of serumal testosterone, increase the organ index of the testicle and epididymis of the rats and also increase the number of the tubules and Leydig cells, but cut down the concentration of serumal luteotrop(h)ic hormone.
