| It was high incidence of chronic cough,according to the statistics of the "cough diagnosis and treatment guidelines(draft)" drafted in 2005. The proportion of the patients which unkown caues is 70%to 95%on chronic cough in Respiratory Medicine clinic,because the X-ray checks for the patients were not obviously abnormal,and there mainly existed cough symptoms or only cough with a little accompanying symptoms in the patients, it's easy to be neglected by clinicians.Misdiagnosis is high.Many patients were misdiagnosed as "chronic bronchitis" or "Bronchitis" for a long time.But Western medicine causes complexity,clear etiology is the key to successful treatment.But the process is so much complex,and at last it falls short.Cninese medicine has a long history of the treatment of cough,as well as better results. Objectives and Methods sum up the history of the medical-treatment experience with clinical epidemiology survey,frequency analysis,the chi-square test methods in patients with chronic cough on the common symptoms,like tongue,such as pulse frequency analysis.Through comparing the probability,chronic cough syndrome type characteristics are speculated and then the types of cough and the pathogenesis from the analysises on the clinic were summarized by use of these conclusions it is helpful to make projects for treatment of chronic cough in Chinese medicine.Conclusion the common Syndromes of unknown cause cough is Wing-Cold latents lung,Qi-Deficiency of both lung and spleen,yin deficiency and lung-Dryness,Phlegm-Dampness or Phlegm-Fire store in Lung,Liver-Fire invades Lung,incoordination between Liver and Stomach,There is any significant difference among most of symptoms of systemic(P＞0.05),only the throat,the nose,the chest-hypochondrium and gastric cavity, drinking water,food,feces and emotional,the seven symptoms,have a significant difference,the cough-related Factor is the important factors in differentiation for syndrome classification. |
