| Premenstrual syndrome(PMS) is characterized by a range of cyclical physical and/or mood symptoms which affect their ability to function at home or in the workplace experienced during the last few days of each menstrual cycle. And diminish rapidly after the onset of menses. Serious emotional instability associated with the menstrual anxiety disorder is called premenstrual dysphoric disorder,PMDD. Premenstrual syndrome is the common disease ,frequently-occurring disease during reproductive period. Its complex and diverse clinical manifestations direct impact on women's quality of life. This paper expounds the recent development of PMS in Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as Western Medicine through the research of the disease at home and abroad in recent years and provides comparatively systematic reference for the further study and treatment of premenstrual syndrome. The Western medicine part introduces the etiology and treatments progress emphatically, the Chinese medicine part introduces the clinical and foundation research emphatically .In addtion,some opinions and experiences of Mr Wu are introduced. The writer proposes the problems on the research and the possible methods. And attaches the thoughts and the draft of PMS clinical trial scheme. |
