Objective:To study the effect and safety of PingganzhitongTang in patients and explore the theory and mechanism of TCM on treating the Migraine.Methods:Sixty cases were randomly divided into two groups with single blindess:Thirty patients as treament group who received PingganzhitongTang,100ml,twice drinking each day;and thirty patients as control group were Nimodipine Tablets,60mg,third one day too.Every 7 days as acourse,continuous two weeks,the symptoms,sings and haemorheology parameters were observed before and after therapy.Results:First when therapy was finished,the total effective rate of treatment group was86.67%(Cure rate:30.00%,significantly effective rate:43.33%) and the total effective rate of control group was 63.33%(Cure rate:13.33%,significantly effective rate:20.00%). The group's total effective was significantly different,p<0.05.Second,when the therapy were finished,the TCM symptoms decreased scores measure and counting in treatment group were superior to the control one with the t-test,p<0.05.Third,the improve of the groups' haemorheology parameters that before and after therapy,there was obvious difference between the two groups,p<0.05.Conclution:First,these results suggested that the PingganzhitongTang in treating Migraine that is the ganyangshangkang symptom has obvious clinical effective,there was obvious difference between the two groups.Second,the PingganzhitongTang has the effect that is pingganqianyang,shengqingjiangzuo and zhitong;at the same time it can improve the haemorheology parameters.
