Sjogren's Syndrome Immunological Parameters And Tcm Syndrome Type Of Research

Sjogren's syndrome(SS) is an autoimmune connective tissue disease.It has serious danger to human healthy leading to damages of multiple organs and tissues.The morbility of SS in china is 0.33%-0.77%which corresponds with the morbility of Rheumatoid arthritis.Thus,accurate diagnosis of SS,is very important for the clinical treatment. Researches both on the Lab diagnosis and the syndrome patterns of SS in TCM have been reported in recent years,however,the combinative researches of these two aspects have rarely been seen.This study is to investigate 71 patients of SS and observe some of immune indexes,including ANAs,serum IL-2,serum IL-6,RF,serum TNF-αand serumγ-protein,and combine TCM Differential Syndrome Pattern with objective indexes,trying to find a helpful way in making TCM diagnosis more objectively and accurately.In this study 71 cases of SS were divied into three TCM syndrome pattern groups:Gan-Shen-Yin-Xu group,Qi-Yin-Liang-Xu group and Yin-Xu-Xue-Yu group.And the Lab Methods we used were latex agglutination test on RF,serum protein electrophoresis on serumγ-protein,indirect immunofluorescence,counter immunoelectrophoresis and Western Blotting on ANAs,RIA on serum IL-2,serum IL-6 and serum TNF-α,finally the results and their relationship were compared and analysed with statistic methodology.The results showed that there was statistic distinguish between Gan-Shen-Yin-Xu group and Qi-Yin-Liang-Xu group at the age of having disease(P＜0.05);The levels of serum IL-6, between Yin-Xu-Xue-Yu group and Qi-Yin-Liang-Xu group had significance(P＜0.05); Yin-Xu-Xue-Yu group had higher level of serum TNF-αthen the other two patterns and compared with Qi-Yin-Liang-Xu group had significance(P＜0.05).We concluded serum TNF-αlevels can be used as an objective indicator to typing of SS Syndrome Pattern.And serum IL-6 can also be used as a reference both for typing of SS Syndrome Pattern and for SS Syndrome Pattern transformation.Clearly,the further research on the relationships between syndrome pattern of TCM and objective indexes will be greatly significant in the future.
