Oxytropis glabra DC.has been considered to be one of the major loco weeds in Oxytropis DC.In most places,it caused chronic poisoning of live stock,abortion of dam and death,and it seriously damaged the animal husb andry of Inner Mongolia and northwest of china.At present,most research focuse on the toxicity of the plant to animals,seldom researched to chemical consituents.Taking Oxytropis glabra DC.for example,study on the chemical consti tuents with the methods of prediction of unkonw conpounds and target isola tion,and it provides the basis for available value.There are four parts in this paper.Part one:Summary of the studies on Oxytropis DC.Studies on chemical constituents,pharmacological activities,toxicological effect and application prospect of Oxytropis DC.in recent years.87 references were cited.Part two:Study on the pre-experiment of constituets in Oxytropis glabra DC.Because of the lack of study,little research have been reported.The chemical composition of Oxytropis glabra DC.have been tested systematically by mesas of tube-test.Results showed that there were differences between aerial and underground parts.Among of them,alkaloids and flavonoides mainly existed in aerial part.Therefore,it is necessary to study the chemical constituents of this two parts respectively.Part three:Study on the stuctrual prediction and detection of the unknown flavonoides in Oxytropis glabra DC.Based on the feature of the known compounds from the Oxytropis DC.and biosynthetic pathway of secondary metabolites in plant,the unknown constituents could be predicted.According to the detection of the predicted constituents by the liquid chromatograph-mass spectrometry(LC-MS~n),the compounds were detected.Using HPLC-MS~n technique,13 constituents in the alcohol extract of Oxytropis glabra DC.were analyzed and presumed as flavonoides.Combined with the predicted figure of the unknown flavonoides in Oxytropis glabra DC.,their structures were deduced and 7 of them were first found in this plant.Part four:Study on the target isolation of chemical eonsituents of Oxytropis glabra DC.Selecting the unknown compound as the prior isolation purpose,the constituents of Oxytropis glabra DC.were systematically studied by the method of target isolation which was based on the structural prediction ofun known compounds and detective results of LC-MS~n.Nineteen compounds we re separated and identified which included twelve flavonoids,they were que rcetin,apigenin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside,kaempeferol,apigenin,quercetin-3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside, quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside,kaempeferol-7-O -α-L-rhamnopyranoside-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside,isothamnetin-3-O-β-D-glucop yranoside,kaempeferol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside,kae mpeferol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside,quercetin-3-O-β-D-rutinoside,apigenin-7-O -neohesperidoside.two phenolic acids:phthalic acid,caffeic acid,one alkalo id:adenosine,one lactam:caprolactam,three others:palmic acid,β-sitostero 1,dancosterol.Among them,apigenin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside,quercetin,isothamnetin-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, quercetin-3-O-β-D-rutinoside,apigenin-7-O-neohespe ridoside were unkonwn compounds in Oxytropis glabra DC.,phenolic acids, quercetin-3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside,kaempeferol-7-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, caffeic acid,adenosine and caprolactam were isolat ed from the Oxytropis genus for the first time.7 flavonoids were sucessfully isolated from Oxytropis glabra DC.,and they were both in the scope of prediction.It showed that the method of prediction and target isolation was practical,and it could save more time, reagents and resources than the traditional methods.
