Acupuncture Treatment Of Allergic Rhinitis With Points Of Law

Objective:Allergic rhinitis can be simply referred to as rhinitis.According to the principles of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),rhinitis is classified as a common type of nasal congestion.The symptoms are frequently targeted at the respiratory system,in particular the nasal membranes.Rhinitis is an extremely common medical condition with a high incidence rate,when compared to other common ailments.We just summed up ancient and modern literature about curing symptoms of allergic rhinitis.And we summarized ancient and modern principles of using points to cure allergic rhinitis,and the law of combing points.We discriminated the differences between ancient and modern thought of dialectic analysis and distinctions on choosing characteristic points and the law of choosing points.We summarized the main points and the combining points which were used during the therapic process of acupuncture and moxibustion.We recommend a standard solution to cure allergic rhinitis.Method:We researched ancient acupuncture 38 documents from ancient dynasties.Modern literature 80 papers get from Chinese acupuncture magazines published in China and edited papers from last 30 years.We then put them in order and summarized the principles of using points,the law of combining points,and the high frequency of used points.We also summarized ancient and modern prescriptions overhead about curing allergic rhinitis,principles and law of combining points.Through analyzing and studying ancient and modern prescriptions we discussed the dialectical analysis and the law of combining points in developing a direction for an appropriate therapy in acupuncture and moxibustion.And we discussed the composition of the recipes and we summarized the high-frequency recipe in acupuncture and moxibustion to cure allergic rhinitis.Results:The conclusion is that common ancient points are BL12,LI12,BL66and DU23. Most of these points belongs to Bladder Meridian,Du Meridian and Larege Intertine Meridian.The conclusion is that common modern points are LI20,EX-HN3,LI4 and ST36. Most of these points belongs to Larege Intertine Meridian.Bladder Meridian and Extra Point.Conclusion:Through analyzing and studing ancient and modern prescriptions,we can conclude these common points of acupuncture to cure allergic rhinitis are largely different.Mainly is because of differencies of the cause of allergic rhinitis between the ancient and modern traditional Chinese medicine experts.Analyzing the result,for the ancient traditional Chinese medicine experts,is because of deficiencies in Yang for allergic rhinitis.And for the modern traditional Chinese medicine experts,is because of the functional disharmony between the lungs,spleen and kidneys.
